I was saddened to hear of Allyne's passing. Both Betty and I have many, many fond memories of her encouragement and love over the years. She was a blessing to all she met. My prayers are with "Willie" and the whole family. Rest eternal grant her, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon her.

To the Family of Mrs. Derrick,
I knew your very sweet mother and grandmother many years ago when she taught me Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church in LaMarque. She was a true Christian lady who gave me many good memories at Trinity. I pray God will give you peace of knowing He has welcomed her home!

Pastor Bill, so sorry about the loss of your mom. She was so dedicated to the worship of our Lord, service to her church and community, and kindness to her family and friends. What a model of Christian life! Think of the joy in heaven as she rests from her earthly labors and spends eternity with her Lord and Saviour.

During this difficult time, may God wrap his arms around you and comfort you with his peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Pastor Derrick and family. I remember your mother well, when I was employed at Sweetbriar Nursing Home. She and her group of ladies came quite often to comfort and help our patients, sing, work in the craft room, assist us in trying to make life better for our dear, sweet patients. She was a beautiful, lovely, kind lady. I am sorry for your loss, but do know in my heart she is in a happier place.
