Mildred, Gary, and Greg-I was so sorry to learn of Charmille's death. My husband, Dr. Derry Magee, was a first cousin of Dr. Charles Bridges whom he developed a family relationship with during their last years of teaching at the School of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M. We enjoyed having Mildred and Charles in our home, sharing with them our fig preserves, and the Bridges genealogy research. Derry was so honored when Charles gave him a copy of the extensive Bridges family research that he had done and the letters written to his children which included his Bridges research.

Charmille brought Mildred to visit Derry when Derry was in the St. Joseph Rehab recovering from a stroke.

Through visiting Charles in the Rehab, we were privileged to visit Charmille again and included her in our Magee family e-mails which she shared with her mother Mildred. They enjoyed knowing that they were cousins.

Derry passed away on June 3, 2015 of cancer. Derry, Charles, and Charmille have been reunited in Heaven. Mildred, may God continue to comfort and bless you.

In Christ, Dora Magee

I was fortunate enough to have played basketball at A&M Consolidated with Charmille. She was one of the kindest, most gentle people I ever knew. I am so sorry for your loss.
