Chester Hintz, Jr.

Just found out about Chester's passing. Chester and I were stationed at Atsugi Japan together and shared a house off base for two years. We visited many places in Japan. He was a great friend. thought of him many times over the years and I should have contacted him. Happy to see that he was blessed with a wonderful family. Miss you Chester even after all these years remembering our adventures and great times in Japan.

Linda, this is your old neighbor on Harrison Rd in Brenham. I was informed about Chester's death because I am making a memorial display for the 50th reunion of the class of '67. I also learned about Ralph's death also. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Until I read Chester's obituary, I did not know that you two were married. I am heartbroken for you. Shorty passed over to heaven much sooner than anyone expected. I know that the suddenness of his death has left a hole in your heart and family that even time will not replace. Take heart in knowing that many friends and family are praying for all of you and that God knows your need and will care for you and hold you in the palm of his hand. I am praying for strength for you in the coming months to carry you through these times. Know that God's strength is with you always

To the family of "Shorty" Chester Hintz, The Lord is my shepard, I lack nothing, he makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul, he guides me along the right path for his namesake.
