My Twitter friend Jimmy was amazing to tweet with. I will sorely miss his banter and insight; He was Heaven sent for all of us to share.
God Bless his soul!

I am so sad to hear of his death. He had given me a cd that he had mixed. I would like to be able to share that with you. I think he would like that. He loved his music. God bless all of you. If you should like a copy of the CD he made for me, you can email me: lizwasko@gmail.com. I think he would have like for his children to hear it.

Court, there are no words to take away the hurt...
Only your faith, your memories and your love for your dad will help heal the hurt in time.
I'm so thankful I got to meet your dad....he could always brighten my day with his smile and always a great big hug and a kiss! He was truly one of a kind...I loved the poems you let me read,
that he had written...my heart goes out to all of you....I will keep you all in my prayers and in my heart.....I' sure Jimmy is getting ready to cut a rug in heaven with all the ladies.... :)
Love you Kiddo...

Jimmy was a loyal and dedicated man to his family, his military service and his country. Having spoken with Jimmy many times, it was evident his heart was as big as his home state. His honor and integrity resonated nationally giving inspiration to others for which we are all grateful. I was proud to know Jimmy, honored he could walk with all of us for a while, but most of all, he has found a home in the Hall of Heroes, Valhalla. Welcome home sir. Rest well, you earned it.

I knew Jimmy through twitter and met him not long after I joined several years ago. I have great memories of fun times with him and Sherry (@STXherry) on twitter. Sadly, both are gone now.
Jimmy would tweet country music songs to the ladies most mornings. That tweet always made me smile. Jimmy was kind, funny, often ornery, but always the charming Southern gentleman to all of us on twitter. In his last tweet to me, he was teasing me about my college football team. That was Jimmy, always making us laugh. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family.

My prayers for this lovely large family Jimmy was so proud of. I pray God floods you with joy and peace beyond comprehension as you reflect on having Jimmy for his lifetime. You are certainly the foundation for this giving and loving man and patriot.

I was one of the early people on Twitter with Jimmy, ranting and raving about our crumbling American economy. When I realized God would be our only answer, I started a Bible & Prayer Ministry, Tweeting God;s Love. Jimmy was always very support and protective of my Twitter ministry.

I have been fortunate to be one of #JimmysLadies who all received a cowboy love song or dance tune every morning to start our day. We miss him every morning on Twitter!

I grew to love Jimmy most when I had major surgery and was facing the likelihood of cancer myself. Jimmy encouraged me and told me I would be fine. It is then when he told me for the first time of the years he had battled cancer and his over 50 surgeries. No one would have know that by his always uplifting spirit!

I came through surgery cancer free, thanks to the Lord and the faithful prayers of Jimmy and other men and women of God.

We will keep his memory alive on Twitter by continuing to share his cowboy tunes among #JimmysLadies and we will all be looking for his dance card in Heaven one day!

Thank you for this opportunity to share how precious this great American became to us in the Twitterers! HUGS!

Godspeed dear friend.....
P.S. Dearest Jimmy thank you for being there for me, I couldn't have gotten through saying goodbye to Sherry without ya cowboy!
