So many good thought come to mind when I think about your mom, Dot. She was such a sweet, kind and precious person. She like my mom went through many trials and the loss of a child is something you dont get over. Im so glad that youll were all with her. God planned that way. I will be praying for you and the family. Im here for you just as you were here for me when I lost Paul. Love Veronica

Dorothy and Ben,

So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your mom frying chicken for us one afternoon in our younger days. She was so gracious! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Glenn and Debra Kovar

Granny was the strongest, toughest person I've ever known. At the same time, she always put every one else before herself and was a very loving person.

She would caution against climbing trees, riding four wheelers, or going near water, but she would never hesitate to climb on top of hay bales in the barn or wade in the creek to fix a fence after a flood. She hated when we brought home fish or dove, but she'd always made fried catfish or whole, plucked dove soup.

To this day I don't know how she managed to keep care of 5 or 6 or 7 kids at the same time some summers, but she made it look easy.

I learned a lot from my granny. She was dealt a tough hand in life but never, ever complained and always kept working hard and moving forward.

I love and miss you Granny and can't wait to see you again.
