Mary Ann, Dan and Family,

It was with great sorrow that we got the news of Aunt Aggies passing. We share your grief but also the joy of knowing that we will all be together again in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dan and Mary Ann, your mother was and always will be a special person. I can remember going over to your house as a tiny kid and your mother offering dad a cup of coffee. Dad's pat answer to that offer was "just half a cup". One morning Aunt Aggie was so thrilled at that declaration that she came to him with a coffee cup sliced down the middle giving dad exactly what he ordered. Aunt Aggie laughed along with Uncle Arthur, dad and anyone else within listening distance of the kitchen. I don't know where she got that half cup but she enjoyed getting it for dad. Your mother loved a good practical joke!!! To be a part of the O'Malley Family that must be a requirement!!!

You are in our thoughts and prayers and I know that Aunt Aggie, Uncle Arthur, Dickie and Pat are waiting for us to join them in heaven. What a joyous reunion that will be!!!

The O'Malley Family has our love and prayers. Mrs. O'Malley was a lady of true distinguishing characteristics. She was someone, anyone would look up to and receive her kindness and love in return. I know her journey was one of joy and well recived by those who made the journey before her.

Our Love,

SORRY TO HEAR OF THE DEATH OF YOUR LOVED ONE. I have found comfort in the Holy Scriptures. May you too find strength and hope from this text-“He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it]. 9 And in that day one will certainly say: “Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.”” (Isa 25:8-9)

Dear Mary Ann and Dan and extended families,

So sad to hear of your Mother's passing yesterday. I know you all shall miss her as I will too. I have such wonderful memories of her.

Aunt Agnes (or Aunt Aggie as we called her) was one of the persons in my life who had a great impact on it. She believed in living life to the fullest and enjoy it while you are going through. She was one of my most favorite aunts and the years that we lived across the street and/or around the corner from the Arthur and Agnes O'Malley family were truly some wonderful years for me.

At Aunt Aggie's house we could have those very large glasses of iced tea with real sugar in it (even at dinner time) and then sometimes when I would spend the night Mary Ann and I could even have leftover Blackberry Pie for breakfast. Those were the days! I'm sure I never told my mother about that.

Aunt Aggie gave me all my haircuts and perms, and going shopping with her was a real trip. We shopped 'til we dropped, had milkshakes, hamburgers & french fries downtown, and didn't have much appetite for dinner on those days. But we sure had fun.

When the O'Malley's moved to Tomball and then on to Brenham they were sorely missed by me and my brothers. The O'Malley family was truly our reason for living in our early years and then they were away. Oh, we got to visit each other occasionally but it wasn't the same as when we could run across the street to play and/or ride our bicycles around the corner several times a day or week. Oh, those were the days!

And now with the passing of my dear Aunt Aggie I can only say this. I plan to meet up with her again in heaven someday and hope that I can squeeze into that mansion next to hers, because somehow I know we are going to have fun for eternity if my Aunt Aggie lives next door to me.

I love you Dan and Mary Ann and am so sorry that I am unable to make it to the funeral. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your cousin Gloria
