I loved all my sister in-laws, but Marguerite
was very special. I remember a wonderful talk
we had when they visited us one weekend, soon
after Judd & I were married. Everytime we visited in Huston, we always took time to spend
a day with our dear sister in-law. I will continue to put flowers on Alfred's grave at Springdale Marguerite. Isn't it wonderful for
memories. Love

Dear Family,
My moher, Edna Krause, is a resident of LaRoche Manor whose room is across the hall from the room Mrs. Mattingly resided in. Mother spoke so often of what a sweet lady Mrs. Mattingly was. Mother would play her harmonica and Mrs. Mattingly would softly sing many of the songs she played.
I am sure she will be greatly missed, but take comfort in knowing she is now singing with her Lord and Savior.

Sorry to learn of the death of your loved one. The Bible is a source of comfort.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God"
We have found the promise of restoring life to those asleep in death very comforting.
(Revelation 21:3-4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
