Dear Johnny, Our hearts are very heavy after hearing about the loss of your precious bride Carey. Her deep love for her family, her fellow man and her desire to make the world a better place is what motivated her. Jesus and his Father, Jehovah, hate death. The nine resurrections recorded in God's Word prove that this is a reality not a myth. He promises that those "powerless in death" will live again. (Isaiah 26:19) May you and your dear family find comfort in God's guarantee to reunite family and friends here on a paradise earth!
Our Love and Respect,
Jimmy and Pattie

I worked as a Supervisor for the Texas Department of Human Services along with Carey under Ken King. I have so very many happy memories of those years. Each month when we met, usually in the Temple office where I worked, for our supervisor staff meetings, we had lots of good times together. I will always remember those fun times with Carey and the other DHS Aged and Disabled Supervisors.

Condolences to Carey's family.

Fondly,
Shirley Barker
