My dear Diane,

I just ran across Donnie's obituary. Girl, I am so sorry for your loss.Take care of yourself, I know he adored you.

Diane and Family-
I am truly sorry to hear about your recent loss. It was a great honor working with Donnie while at HD. He always had words of wisdom and many words of humor. I keep a poem with me and think of it often...I hope you find some peace in its words. God Bless you and your family.

Gods Garden
God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering; He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and said, "Peace Be Thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you that day God called you home. You left beautiful memories; your love is still a guide. And although we cannot see you, you are always by our sides.

So sorry to here about Donnie. He always had a ready smile and friendly hello. He'll be missed by many.
