I was greatly saddened when I heard of his passing. He was my first optometrist and a major influence in my professional life. When I discussed Optometry school with him back in the 70's, he was an essential advocate in both his encouragement and his personal involvement. He took the time and interest to make the proper introductions at UH. I'm thirty-four years in practice, thanks to him. What a great humanitarian! He will be missed.

Someone once told me that if any person he knew lives, then he still lives. That thought always helped me through times like this and I hope it helps you, too.
