Donald and family, I was so saddened to hear the news of your mom passing. That immediately took me back to memories of the many gatherings we had at your house before a night out on the town when in high school. Your mom just quietly sitting back and watching (and I am sure she was silently saying a prayer for our safe return).

Saying prayers silently for the Glenz Family.

Mrs. Glenz had to be one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the privilege of meeting! Loved visiting with her during all of those Little League softball games!! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Dear Glenz family,

Our sincere sympathy is extended to all of you as you mourn the loss of sweet Elene.
I thought so highly of her and seriously have met few ladies as talented and loving as her. I have so many personal fond memories of her growing up and her tribute/obituary talked about so many things that I will hold dear in my heart. I know God is welcomig her with open arms. She lived a wonderful life and always in service to others.
We look forward to the celebration of her life when we can join together and thank God for giving her to all to love and enjoy! Karen

Sending prayers and heart felt condolences to the family. She will be greatly missed. I delivered her mail and she would always meet me at the door unless she was sitting in her garage where I would come and visit with her. She always had a warm inviting smile and such a very sweet person. May she Rest In Peace

I knew her as Mama Glenz. I was one of the wee ones that she baby sat for. For me it was nearly 50 years ago now. When I come back home to Brenham I’d often stop to visit. She and my own grandmother were friends so she was also grandmother-like by proxy. I used to marvel at her violets. She was so proud of them. We’d often share cookies that I’d pick up and bring her from some place I traveled to. I won’t get to see the garage door open anymore, or her smile when she’d open the door. She’ll be missed.

Mrs. Glenz was a perfect example of a good and faithful servant. She touched many lives throughout her time on this earth. May the Lord provide you all with peace, strength and comfort during this time of loss. We pray he wraps his loving arms around you all, while she is celebrating her reunion with her dear son, Larry.
Much love,
