My warmest condolences to the Faykus family. I was a student of Ms. Faykus and I had the honor to know Mr. Faykus not only as a principal but through church activities. Mr. Faykus was a man of exceptional faith and humility. He was an inspiration to my spiritual formation as a youth. May his memory remain a dear blessing to you as it is for me.

Though we never met, I am Elmer's 2nd cousin. My grandfather and his grandfather were brothers. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and wish to express my sympathy and prayers to you and your family. May God wrap you all in His loving Arms during this difficult time.

Mr. Faykus was a kind-hearted and God driven individual. I am so blessed that I was able to be a student under him while he was principal at Sacred Heart School. I will forever remember the sweet smile he offered every morning walking into school when I was younger. He truly made a difference in so many people’s lives.
