Gerald & Tudie,
I know the pain of losing a parent and it takes a great faith to get through it! Please know that I have been praying for peace in your family's grieving. It just takes time . . .
I remember "Shorty" first @ the gas station as I was just beginning to drive in the "60's". My Mother(his first cousin) always told me to go to him if I needed help on the road. Then as a teacher, I came to know him again as one of the sweetest bus drivers, along w/ his brother Burney, that BISD has ever employed. They were delightful brothers and I was proud to a part of their family.
My prayers are with you . . . Love, Pat Schroeder

The death of one so dearly loved is painful. Maggie and I know the sorrow of bereavement. We find comfort in the Bible's promise of a resurrection. We hope you will also be comforted by one of our favorite texts. Isaiah 25:8 says-" He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will cetainly wipe the tears from all faces."

Dear Krause & Hathaway families, Mr. Krause looked wonderful last nite and the slide pictures were great. What a great person he was and how much he loved his family. I know you will miss him dearly, all his day to day happenings, his certain way of doing things and his everyday presence. I love that all the grandkids first names begin w/ a K....I know that made him happy & easy to remember. Our thoughts are with you and yours. Sincerely, Mrs. Pat McIntyre & husband Dee, Pat Dalton, Sarah & Matt, Reagan,Harvey & Emma Kate McIntyre

Shorty truly was a people person, something he passed on to both his children. It was always such a great site to see him behind the wheel of bus 801.
He will be missed.

Dear Ella Mae, Gerald, and Family ~
I only had the great pleasure of knowing "Papa Krause" for just over a year, but in that short time I came to care for him as if he were a family member of my own. He was a great, honorable man who loved his family very much. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family throughout this incredibly difficult time.
