Mrs. Bigbee and family,

My heart is breaking for you in your time of sorrow.

I pray that the love of God enfolds you and that your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

Randy, Jan, Jay and the entire family,

I wish I could have been there for you today. I have grieved in my heart for you since Sunday evening. Even though I was unable to be there, you were in my thoughts and prayers constantly throughout the day. There are no words to say that help, but please know that you are loved and cared for. The joy that Evan brought to everyone he met will live on in the lives of those people. The contributions he made will be a lasting legacy. Keep your eyes on Christ and He will see you through this day by day.

Much love and sympathy goes out to each of you.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Bigbee family and Evan's close friends. I was stunned when I heard the news Monday morning...it always amazes me how the most wonderful and unique souls get taken from our lives too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Evan,

A lot of time has passed since I last saw you, and I'm sorry that I can't be there to celebrate your life with everyone. Time tends to spread people apart, and I regret not keeping in better touch with you since high school. I always admired the way that you looked at life, and how you didn't care what other people thought. That is true freedom, and an example for all of us to live by. I'll never, ever see Monty Python or read Douglas Adams without thinking of you.

God willing, I'll see you on the other side, Brother.

To the Bigbee family,

Your son was a great guy and such a good friend to so many people. He always made me laugh, and I never heard him utter a negative word about anyone. I think one of the greatest compliments that someone can receive is that while they may be gone from this Earth, they will never, ever be forgotten. I'll never forget Evan. God bless you all.

Although I cannot be there in person, my heart is with all of you, my family, today as you celebrate Evan's too short but full life. We will all miss Evan so much, along with the laughter and joy he always brought with him. We will always feel the missing piece in our family. I can't comprehend why things like this happen, but I do know Who to turn to. I am praying for you, Randy, Jan, and Jay. Wish I could hug you.

Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief. proverbs 14:13

Mrs. Bigbee-

There are no words to express how sorry we were to hear of Evan's accident.
Mrs. Kirts called Sunday night and we have been thinking and praying for your family since then--
Victoria remembers how often you spoke of both your boys and how proud you are of them-
Both are accomplished young men and a beautiful reflection of you-

With heartfelt sympathy-
