I loved you so much Uncle George. I remember you when I was little being so funny and I loved to be around you. I don't know what I would have done without your support and wisdom when my father (Walter) died.
I am so glad that you found happiness with Betty Jo and I wish I could have met her and your family.
I want to thank you Aunt Betty Jo for making my Uncle George so fulfilled.
With all of my love,
Karen

Mrs. Kingston,
I always enjoyed George's visits to the Chamber. He was such a sweet man. We had some lively discussions on tourism and I always appreciated his opinion. He might tell you how to do your job better but he was also complimentary about the things he thought you were doing right. I'm glad he liked the Visitor's Guide since he remembered the very first one that came out. I will miss his visits and I want you to know that my sympathies are with you during this difficult time. I know you will miss your life partner!

Betty, My prayers and heart are with you. George truly was a remarkable man. He died the same day A.V. died. Now they are celebrating life together. May God Bless you. Call me if I can do anything for you. I will be out of town at our church convention and will miss the services.
