Pattie and I want to express our sorrow for the loss of your beloved Cotton. I started delivering the "Banana Press" to him at his "Service Station" starting in 1964. I knew Cotton as an honest and gentle man who showed that being a man of integrity is what makes a person of genuine worth, meriting respect. Cotton was not hypocritical and he sincerely loved his fellowmen. Our heavenly Father, Jehovah, in His word the Bible sets forth the hope of a resurrection and also the basis for this hope. (Job 14:14,15) May you draw comfort from God's sure promise about the resurrection. Respectfully, Jimmy and Pattie Smith

I am so sorry to learn of Cotton's passing. I have known Cotton for over sixty years. He never changed. He was always friendly, kind, trustworthy. and totally honest. I never heard one bad word about Cotton. That is a wonderful legacy. He is in God's house now.

We are so sorry to hear that Cotton couldn't overcome his recent illness. We have missed his delivery of the Banner and his occasional stop for a brief visit. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. We know that he is safe with his Lord and Savior.

Roger and I extend our sincere sympathy to all of you as you mourn the loss of Cotton. He was a fixture of Brenham...known by all for his kindness and helpfulness. Our last daily encounter with Cotton was as our loyal and dependable Banner Press carrier...we've missed him and know you will too. May it comfort you to know we care, and keep you in prayer.
