As a little girl, I thought I was adopted and that Don and Fay were my real parents. I had to come to grips with it a few years later and was glad Glen took my place. In my home is a painting of a bouquet of flowers that Fay painted. I cherish it dearly. Glen and Teresa, sending my love.

Was saddened to learn of Don and Fay's passing. My parents were next-door neighbors on Lido Lane in Houston for many years. They are all at peace in the presence of our Savior.

Sincerely,

Glen & Teresa,
So sorry to hear this news but there is no doubt that Don was there with that wonderful smile to greet her! Your parents were one of my all time favorite couples, they made me feel good just being around them. I hope we can be together soon to talk and laugh about the good times !
Love,

21 years ago our family moved to Valley View Lane where we not only had a new home but a new family in Mr.Don and Ms.Fay Goodwin. They loved living on Value View Lane and often said so. We will miss them deeply and will cherish the memories. We love you Ms. Fay and it warms our hearts that you are now with your Heavenly Father and Mr. Don! To Glen and Teresa, our prayers are with you of comfort and peace.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the family. We were so sad to hear of Faye's passing. She was the sweetest lady! Now she and Don can be together again.

My prayers go out to you and Teresa. Knowing what a wonderful person you are Glen, I have no doubt your Mom was a great lady. You are good friends and I will have you in my thoughts.

I will sure miss my sweet Jessie Fay. She was a bright spot in my life. I will forever treasure all of our talks and special time spent together. I will miss her riding with me to church. She loved going to church and spending time with God. She loved her sweet Don so much and never really got over missing him. She was so proud of their wonderful son Glen. Her face lit up any time she talked about him. (Honestly, I am not sure that he could do any wrong in her eyes). She and Don both loved the old, upbeat church hymns. I know she is showing her beautiful smile as she walks hand in hand with Jesus and Don. I love you very much Ms. Fay. I will miss telling you so and hearing you tell me. Fly high with the Angels. I will see you on the other side.

Love,

So sorry to hear of her passing. She and Don were such nice people. She told me many times how she enjoyed the hymn “I’ll Fly Away.” Whenever I hear or play it I think of her. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
