I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Jack was such a loving and giving man. Both of you were so delighted with my foster child when I saw you in Wal-Mart. We talked for a long while, but could have gone on for hours. Joyce, you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I am only a phone call away if you need a shoulder. No one knows what you're going through unless they have been there themselves. God bless you.

Joyce and family, Jack was a warm hearted friend that made you feel like you were very special to him. I immediately felt bonded to Jack when I met him several years ago. He had hired me to take care of a legal matter for a friend of his at Jack's expense. There are not many people that go the extra mile for others like Jack would do. This quality in Jack impressed me as well as his "war stories" about his law practice in the Houston area. Jack obviously spent his life taking care of others and providing them with his time, talent and wealth. Joyce, I could tell how much you meant to Jack in his later years when his health began to decline. You, most of all related to Jack because of you had worked with him during his active legal career and remained a loyal mate in his retirement. Jack has certainly earned a great reward in heaven for the things he did for others here on earth during his lifetime. God bless and keep Jack forever. Jamie Elick
