So sorry for your loss and that I wasn't able to bring my mother (Claudene Stolz) to the funeral. I will always remember the kindness and love Jeanette showed to me every time I came up to my dad's dealership. She brightened the place up with her smile and personality! She was a great friend to my parents and to me.

To Jeanette's family, I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are for Jeanette's transition & your peace of mind. I may have met your Mom once at a reunion. I feel I know of her from my Mom (Amanda Schroeder Denton) who ironically passed Feb "13th" five years ago and she was 88 too. My Mom always talked fondly of your Mom and they would keep in touch via mail and Christmas cards. I know they are both in heaven catching up with each other and other loved ones. They were proud Germans and a great reflection of their heritage.

Push forward and cherish your memories. Love. Linda

I’m so sorry to hear about you mother. She was such a sweet person and I spent a lot of time at her house, growing up. We spent a lot of time at the bowling alley with your mom and dad and had a blast! I bet your mother and dad are now dancing and bowling at last, in heaven.

I met Jeanette during her employment at Roy Stolz Motor Co. She and I went to a General Motors class in Houston. I would pick her up every morning and we would drive to Houston and back that afternoon. My wife, Betty, and I remained good friends with Jeanette for many years. We often spoke of her and Leon. Our sympathy is extended to all the family.

I knew Jeanette from working with her at Chappell Hill Construction for a short time, but mostly from her being a very dear longtime friend of my mother (Virginia Kessel Hodde). Jeanette always was so cheerful and kind, she was a wonderful person.

My mother and father are both in a senior facility now, but I know that my mother would like to express her deep sorrow over Jeanette's passing.

From the Hodde family
