Karen and I worked together for many years and she was committed, reliable and compassionate about the people she served who lived at the state school. I also began working there in 1976, but I think we met some time later when I returned from graduate school. My deepest sympathy to her family as they process their grief. I am still a bit in shock after hearing the news yesterday but know that God had a better plan for her. Prayers to family and friends at this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Karen's passing away. She was a sweet lady. I worked with her and she was always able and willing to help whenever and wherever she was needed. I know she will greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

My heart is broken to know that Karen is no longer with us physically. Those of our family we lose don"t go away, they are still loved, still missed and is held very dear in our hearts. I know Karen"s beautiful blues eyes are looking down on us from above.
