Gloria and Melvin,
Miss Lillie was such a beacon to those who knew her. I had the priveledge of knowing her in her later years but what a delight. She always had a wonderful smile and a cute story to tell. Hold your memories close and rejoice that she was with us for such a long time.

So sorry to hear about Granny's passing. She will be missed by all of us. How many times did we have events where she would drink beer with us. It was always "get me a beer but just half a cup". Memories I will always cherish. She was a great lady. I will indeed miss her.

Aunt Lillie, you will always be in my heart. Daddy, your brother, died in 1968 and I know he is happy to see you. You have always been special to me during my life. My love goes to Gloria and family - I know they will miss you but they have the Godly memories of your love and care and Uncle Otto's, too. I love you dearly.

Dear Ehlert family,
Even though Lilly was 102, I know it is hard to finally say good-bye, because it is even hard for us. What a wonderful lady! Every time we saw her, her eyes lit up and she was happy to see us. Even when I visited her at Easter, she asked, "How is everybody?" I told mom that is what I remember her saying to us the most. Always wanting to know how everyone was. We will miss Lilly, but we know it was time for her to leave now and we will see her again in a much better place, Heaven.

With love,
Karen and Bruce

Knowing Aunt Lillie is having a GREAT reunion w/Uncle Otto, Uncle Fritz and ALL that went before her. And especially her God! What a beautiful, fruitful, FUN life she shared with us, as well as being a great example of what family is all about! We love you and cherish EVERY memory of the times we shared together!
This is truly a CELEBRATION of God's provision for us all and a life lived to the fullest! As well as a celebration of a beautiful lady!
Gloria and all her boys and their families were among the most blessed to have been so close to her for so many years. Aunt Lillie will be dearly missed but cherished in our hearts forever.
