Lois married my grandpa Shorty when I was 13. I remember her being so vibrant and sassy! 17 years ago when I married Mark-she really seemed to like him! Grandpa and Lois always seemed to enjoy my kids(their great-grandkids :o)when we got to come and visit. I know she is in heaven now with all her loved ones and she is so happy and pain free in the presents of our Lord! I wish her family many blessings and I send up prayers during this difficult time!

Dear Friends: Your Mom was a great lady. I so happy to do Shorty and your Mom's wedding. It brought great happiness to her after your Dad's sudden death. Both men where wonderful and she love her life with both. She was so staright forward and direct with her words of wisdom and always told you the truth. I could see in her eyes her meanings after the stroke when she said her familar CCC. I loved her for that wonderful smile and that warm firm handshake. The loss of a mother is the toughest to deal with even when you know it is salvation to them. I send my love to you all and wish you peace. David

Lois was a great person. I met hear when I first came to Brenham. We worked with Goodfellow's together. She was always friendly. She would talk to me about Golf at the Holly Open. We will miss her. Our condolences to your family.

LOIS WAS SUCH AN INSPIRATION. IT IS ALWAYS TOUGH TO SAY "GOOD BY" TO A PARENT, BUT WE ARE ASSURED THAT THERE IS A WONDERFUL REUNION GOING ON IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.

How special was your mother/Mimi?! She was so full of life! She and Shorty were always so kind and welcoming to me when I spent time with your family as I so often did. It was difficult to see her lose that ability to communicate after her stroke but she still tried! She didn't miss a party! I know you will miss her presence but oh the stories she's sharing in heaven now! It must have been one grand welcoming party.

All my love,
