The hope of seeing our loved ones again is powerful motivation to keep ourselves in God's love.
(Isaiah 25:8-9) He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it]. 9 And in that day one will certainly say: “Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.”

So sorry I didn't know about your Mom last week.
I would have tried to attend her funeral service. For I always enjoyed visiting with your Mom and Dad years ago before I moved my life from Brenham. My mom always enjoyed them and playing cards,too. Due to time I have had while she was in the rest home I only got to visit with her once.

"Mama Lonie" and my mother, Ida Rauch were roommates at the time of my mother's passing Oct.26th. Speaking with "Mama Lonie" and her sometimes amusing antics and her "babies" helped me through the difficult time as you are facing now. You have my prayers and sympathy.
