When I first came to Brenham, 40 years ago, I worked next door to Mr. Seidel, and he was one of the few people who always smiled, called me by name, and had time for a brief chat. Calvin and I have often talked about his kindness.

We hold you in our hearts at this difficult time.

Growing up in St Pauls... I remember smiling when I saw Mr and Mrs Seidal together. You could always tell that they loved each other with their whole heart and soul.

Dear Suzie, Rebecca and family, we read of your dad's passing today. We extend our sincere sympathy at your loss but we also celebrate his life and the influence he and your mom had on all of us. I have the fondest memories of Mr. Seidel with his ever present smile and his wonderfully gentle personality. He was a fine man and a treasure to have known. I shall always remember the time he took Becky and me fishing at the farm. May the Lord's peace comfort you during this time of grieving.
