I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to Loyce's family. She was a kind, thoughtful, passionate person whose faith and courage were an inspiration to all of us. I know that she loved her family and friends and we'll all miss her unconditional love and dedication to those who knew her. including hundreds, maybe thousands, of students. Her pain is over now and she left a beautiful legacy for all of us who hope to see her again someday.

Dear Van Hook Family, I subbed in Mrs. Van Hook's 3rd grade class at Alton many years ago. She was always so organized and her students were well behaved. She always had her room decorated for the holidays and she said that was because one thing she spent a lot of time in her classroom and another thing because not all children had decorations in their homes. My sincere sympathy to all of her family. Prayers for peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Loyce was always a joy to work with, and I cherish my time talking to and working with her while I was in Brenham. She always went above and beyond, and I could tell she was dedicated to ensuring that Brenham teachers were prepared to help each and every student reach their potential in math.
My heartfelt condolences are with all of her family, and Heaven is truly enriched by Loyce’s presence.

Dear Mrs. Loyce Vanhook and Family My condolences to you all on behalf of Mrs. Vanhook passing she was an amazing teacher I had her as my 8th grade Enrichment Mentor. Most of all Im so thankful to have known her as a friend and teacher. A mentor who will always will never be forgotten. She will be missed every day from now on.
