Margaret (Auggie) Babbitt

Haven't seen Auggie since college, but she was on my mind today.I decided to look her up online today and found her in the obituaries. So sorry, she was one of my favorite people at Blinn.

To the Babbitt and Darr families:

I was so saddened to hear of Auggie's passing. I met Auggie when we were teenagers and had always loved her smile, charm and total sweetness. I had lost touch with her over the years but was blessed to see her in 2008. She was still the very same sweetheart of a person with her quick smile and friendly ways. I am grateful for having had that time with her.

I will forever remember her and cherish the memories I have of those days going to dances and playing volleyball.

All of you are in my prayers and thoughts at this very difficult time.

Rest in Peace beautiful lady, you will be missed greatly.

My sincere condolences. I knew auggie when I was a child and last saw her in 2008. She was as warm and friendly as my childhood memories of her.

So sorry to hear about Auggie--what a shock. Our prayers are with you and the boys.

Although the journey is your to go alone,a part of me goes with you.You were a source of joy and a wonderful friend to me while we lived in Brenham.My children and I send our thoughts and prayers to Jake and family.

Words cannot describe how we feel about Auggie. She has been there for each one of us no matter what the issue was. From just being a great neighbor, when we first moved to Brenham, to being a confirmation sponsor for Kyle and Megan. She truly was a light from God and helped us understand how important it is to have faith  in Him by participating in many DCYC's,  WYD's, and leading the youth group for anyone wanting to strengthen their faith. She was more than a neighbor, she was like family to us.  No matter what she was going through, she always found the strength to help us through our struggles. We will truly miss her.

Sarah and I have always thought very highly of Auggie! She was one of the strongest people that we had the pleasure of knowing both spiritually and physically! She was always willing to do anything for anyone and help anyone in any way possible! She always believed in us and assisted us in our goals in faith formation as individuals and as a couple! She was more than a friend she was part of the family and she will be truly missed! If yall need anything please don't hesitate to ask!

I am so sorry for your lost. Auggie always had a smile for everyone and will be missed by so many. She did so much for our community and for so many others. She is now in heaven next to God. May God be with you over these difficult times. Dorothy Morgan
