Margaret (Auggie) Babbitt

Dear Babbitt and Darr families,

Auggie will be sorely missed in my practice and in the medical community in Brenham.

I always felt that she was the epitome of a caring and compasionate therapist. She knew how to get the most out of all the patients. She used her methods, and could coax success out of the most difficult situations!

The ultimate compliment is that she was loved by all of her patients!! I don't think she ever had a patient that didn't love her and look forward to their time with her.

Her spirit remains active in our area, through her patients and students.

I will be there with you, in spirit, on Tuesday.

I count myself so blessed to have known and worked with Auggie. She shared her wealth of knowledge with all her coworker and was not only an inspiration to her students but to us. She is missed by many more people than you can imagine. She made an impact on this world that will carry on for generations.

Auggie was a great teacher and mentor. I was blessed and honored to be able to serve twice with her. First, as a teacher's aide to confirmation students, and second, as a lector at 8:00 Mass on Sunday mornings. I will cherish these memories forever and hold them deeply in my heart!

Her faith, love and trust in God was also an inspiration to me. I have learned so much from Auggie, my Catholic faith is stronger because of her. I will do my best to live and love as she did here. God has truly received an angel in Heaven! Peace and love to you all!
