Marguerite H. Lenert

Marguerite Hermina Lenert, age 89 and life long resident of Brenham, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center.

She was born November 27, 1918 to Dr. Robert Henry Lenert, Sr.and Marguerite Regina (Werner) Lenert. She was a graduate of Brenham High School, Blinn College and the University of Denver with a Master’s Degree.

Miss Lenert was a professional actress, performing in Rhode Island and New York theaters. She was a member of the Actors Equity Association.

Survivors include: brother Robert Henry "Ned" Lenert, Jr. and wife LaVerne, and niece Terrie Lenert all of Houston.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 3 p.m. in Prairie Lea Cemetery with Rev. Bob Gribble officiating.
