Mrs. Cookie, thank you for taking me into your home during Thanksgiving 2016. You took in a lad that didn't have any present family around and he is forever grateful. You raised a selfless and family first daughter in Sheri and have wonderful grandkids and great grandkids that are so proud of you. When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. Day by day, your family will grow stronger because of the legacy and foundation you left behind. Cheers!

Dear Don and Family,
Please know we will continue to lift you all up in prayer during these hard times and days to come. But knowing she is with our Lord brings a little sense of peace. I sure will miss seeing her mowing outside. I sure enjoyed to days we had getting to know our neighbors when we had those neighborhood lunches. Sure miss Dorothy and now Cookie. May the peace of the Lord be with you all.

Don, Karen, Sheri, and family,
Words are so inadequate at times like this. I am sorry to hear about Cookie. I have many fond memories of time spent with her. Cling to your memories to get you through the most difficult days. I will be holding you close in my heart and remembering you and your family in my prayers. Love to you all and your families.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Lean on God and allow Him to continue the process of healing your broken heart.
