Dear Erin, Boeer and Bennett families,
My loving thoughts are with each of you in the loss of Matt. Please accept my heart felt sympathy. There is so little one can do or say, but it may help to know so many others deeply care.

Words cannot express the extreme sorrow in our hearts -- please know that all of you are in our prayers. The loss of Matt is so painful, but the happy memories of him will always be with us.

Matt was such a valiant warrior -- I know there is a special place for him in Heaven. And, he had special loved ones waiting to greet him as he walked through those gates. They will all be walking with you and carrying you to give you strength for this path.

I am so sorry, but we will not be able to attend Matt's services because of my health issues and Hurricane Gustav -- however, we will be in Brenham with you in spirit and prayers.

Dear Bill, Kathy, Marla, Erin and familes,
I have no words to make the lose of Matt easier, I wish there were such words.
I want you all to know that my prayer and thoughts are on all of you.

Kathy, Bill, Marla, and Erin:

Only a hurricane would keep us away from attending Matt's services, and be there for you, and Hurricane Gustav is doing just that. We would have to travel through LA and MS, and with the evacuations, the traffic would be impossible. Also, Mobile is still a possibility of being hit.

Please know that my prayers are with you for strength and for God to help us all understand why things happen the way they do. Erin, you are an exceptional young lady, and I hope I have the pleasure of meeting you someday.
