Michael's young death is heartbreaking to all of us who loved & adored him. He had countless attributes, but perhaps the greatest was how he treated people with patience, kindness, and fairness. He often helped others that could not help themselves. Although Michael was a talented athlete and astute intellectual, his proudest moments, loving feelings and positive emotions were clearly centered on Saydne and Hannah.

So sorry for your loss. Nothing but great memories of mike. So many memories from school and our soccer trips all over the world. What a great player and a great man.

Hobgood family: Death is sometimes so hard to understand, but just know that I am thinking of you and praying for peace in your hearts. Hold on to the good memories and rest in the thought that Mike is at rest, free from earthly problems. God will be with you and comfort you in your grief!

My Heart is broken to hear of the passing of Mike. He was a great friend to me when I moved to Brenham in 1993. I will always be grateful to him for getting me involved in coaching soccer. I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers!
