Very sad to hear about Buddy. Just a couple of years ago a bunch of us got together for a reunion over in Fort Worth and Buddy was there. Smile on his face and the center of attention (in a good way). He was a good friend back in high school. We had so many great times together. With them living just across the street from the school, we all knew where Buddy and Sara lived. Sadly, I never saw Buddy again after high school until our reunion but for whatever reason I thought of him and our high school crazy times often. Hey, none of us were "saints", that's for sure. He was a major cool guy in high school though and I'm not only shocked to hear of his passing but I know I'll miss him in my own personal way. -- Hope to see you in the next life Buddy --

I have very fond memories of Buddy & Wanda from our high school days @ FWCA, and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. However, it is wonderful to read from his obituary of his faithful, Christ centered life. It's heartbreaking, when you find out that a friend, once faithful, has left the faith. So, it makes me happy to know Buddy fought the fight & kept the faith. Buddy could always make us laugh. My sympathies to you, Wanda, your childern & all who loved Buddy.

The picture tells it all about Buddy. I don't think I can ever think about Buddy and not see him with a big smile on his face. My heart goes out to Wanda, his mom, his sister Sarah, and the rest of the family. God bless you all!

My name is Kris Sommers and I got to know Buddy and his family about 20 years ago at Central Church of Christ in Bryan. Buddy was always involved with our youth group and was always fun to be around. Buddy definitely showed us how to be a leader as well as a follower of Christ. He will surely be missed by all that knew him. God bless his family.
