It's been only a month Dad, and I miss you so much! I know you are rejoicing in heaven with Mom so I can smile because I can picture that!

Dear Zimmerman Family,
Paula and I have such fond memories of our relationship with Evelyn and Dan; memories that go back over thrity years. Both were such faithful and dedicated servants of the Lord of the Church. Dan was a very humble and in some ways uncomplicated servant, and in that was his marvelous example to many of us pastors, of what it means to be an ordained servant in the Church of Jesus Christ. I have such great memories growing up with Pastor Zimmermann at Berlin. He was always a kid at heart himself!! May God give you all strength and comfort during this sad time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I was blessed to be under his ministry in my childhood at Eben Ezer Lutheran Church. He was always soft spoken, kind hearted, and a loving faithful servant to God.
