I was so sorry to learn of your father's passing. I talked to my Mom on Sunday evening and she told me he had passed away. I wished I had known earlier and I would have come down Sunday evening.

I really have fond memories of both of your parents. I can't think of anyone better to grow up next door to and feel that I was fortunate to grow up with such wonderful people. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know them. (They just don't make neighbors like they were to us. ) I am glad that I did have the opportunity to visit with your Dad at Gazebo. I had brought my youngest son along and he thought your Dad was really neat.

Both of your parents were very special to me. I just wanted to know that I am thinking of you all at this time and you have my deepest sympathy.
