Dotsy and family: Larry and I were so sorry to hear that Ronnie had passed away. I'm sure your grief is indescribable! Throughout High School we watched the two of you fall in love and commit your lives to one another. There was never any doubt of your commitment to a life of love, hard work and family. You were admired by everyone. Your beautiful family has given you so much love and satisfaction over the years - something not everyone can say. You raised 'em right!
Hold all of these beautiful memories near during this time of grief and lean on those who love you. God is with you.

Dear Dotsy, Christi, Ron, Mrs. Ruby, and all of Ronnie's family,
I apologize for not being able to be with you this evening or tomorrow. I am currently recovering from major foot reconstruction surgery. Over the weekend, I started having back spasms. After a treatment today, I am confined to my recliner with ice packs. Before the spasms, I had planned to be with you. I miss being able to give you a hug, but please know that you are all in my prayers.
Ronnie was such a great person. My memories of high school, when he and Dotsy fell in love, are of his kindness and everything he would do for her. I know throughout the years, this love only deepened.
May your memories bring you joy and your faith give you comfort and peace. May God bless all of you.

Dotsy, these upcoming days will be filled with a feeling of emptiness and loneliness. But, your memories of each minute, each hour, each day, each year with Ronnie will carry you through until life
starts being filled with those memories PLUS the New Memories that you are making with your family and friends.

YOU are a Great Lady. I feel blessed to be able to call you a friend.

Dear Dotsy: My sincere condolences to you and your family.
When I think of Ronnie I see him trotting off the baseball field. He was such a good guy. You have much to celebrate along with your grief. 57 years of partnership is pretty rare. It also makes it very hard to say goodbye. My hope for you is peace and love of family and friends which I know you have.
I always tell people that Brenham is that town that grows hard heads and harder workers. Ronnie was apparently a great example of at least the latter. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
