Ruth, Mark, and your children: I was so sad to learn of Sarah's passing and want to express our sincere sympathy, but can only imagine the rejoicing in heaven upon her arrival. May you be comforted by our Lord & Savior and forever be inspired by Sarah's "little light of mine" which nothing can ever put out. With much love in Christ,

On behalf of the churchwide organization of Women of the ELCA, I offer condolences to the family and friends of Sarah. As an active participant and leader in Women of the ELCA, Sarah helped many women work towards our mission of mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. May the comforting love of God through the Holy Spirit walk with all who mourn her death.

Remembering Sarah when she was active in the work of the Women of the ELCA and joy she brought to many.

Sorrow may seem strong, But LOVE is stronger."

Rest in Peace Sarah!

Sarah is a special person in my life, and I treasure the time she served on the synodical Women of the ELCA board while I was president and then blossomed as she took over the president's role a few years later. God has wrapped his arms around her and given her peace and comfort--her earthly battles are over, and she is no longer suffering. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Sending my condolences to the family:
Ms. Zimmermann was a awesome teacher who would not mind using her "calling her dog from the pasture" voice. She has touched many lives and she will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Ms. Zimmerman
