Troy's testimony still rings out today, I hear about him and his beautiful spirit and personality; hearing what I have heard inspires me in my life of "who am i reflecting".

Only recently heard about this via Audie Alcorn. Troy and I were in the same graduating class at Waller H.S. I was there only 2.5 year, but he made a great impression on everyone and it sounds like that continued through his life. My condolences to Tami and all family and friends.

Tami and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was stunned when Karen Andrus called me and told me about Troy. I often tell people what an amazing man Troy was to me. He helped me through some very troubling times. I will always remember and think of him. My prayers are with your family.

Dear Tammi and family, was so saddened to hear of the passing of Troy. He was the true love of your life. He touched so many peoples lives. Though you and your family moved from Waller you were never forgotten. Troy graduated a year head of us Class of '81 he always had a way of making me smile especially in Mrs. Frey's typing class. You and your family have been in my prayers since I learned of his tragic death. God always take the good ones way too soon. May God grant you and your daughters and their families peace during this time of sorrow. Please tell Mrs. Glasco how sorry I am about her great loss as well. You may remember Brannan's Grocery Store. That was my husband's grocery store the only grocery store in Waller back then. May God bless all of your families.

Dear Tami and Family,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about your loss. My mother, called me this morning to let me know. I remember our school days together at Waller and Troy and Tami sitting across the table from me in the high school cafeteria......and Tami, always wanting to drink that Diet Dr. Pepper, so Troy wouldn't see one single extra pound on you Tami. To this day, I cannot forget that. Even though we have lost track over the years, as the last time I saw Tami was at our 20 year class reunion, I knew that the love you two had was forever. So with that I will close, saying, that may you treasure the many memories you had together and know that you will see him once again in God's eternal resting place.

I pray that you will find comfort in the days to come.

Love to you Tami and your children and family,

Tami, Teresa, Timmy and entire Glasco Family:
It was such a privilege to be in the presence of a young Troy and his wonderful honerable, loving family so many years ago in Waller. My heart breaks for your loss and my prayers go with you in the difficult days ahead. Troy represented all the GOOD in his family and went on to share all that and his love for his Heavenly Father. How proud he made all of us. May he rest in peace now.

I went to the same high school with Troy. I did not know Christ at the time. I have been a believer now for 30 years. I would have love to listened to Troy's testimony of how God brought him to salvation. I remember him in school as a tenacious athlete. He was fearless. We played against Eric Dickerson, formally of the Los Angeles Rams, everyone ran out of bounds when this horse was on the field, but not Troy Glasco. He took him head on. I envied Troy's ability to play the drums. In high school I always wanted to be in a rock band, but was horrible. Troy could play the drums perfectly to many bands' songs. I know He used his talent for Christ. I am now and have been teaching in Christian Education for 25 years. I never had an opportunity to fellowship with Troy as a Christian. I heard he that he was a Christian from a friend at a high school reunion years ago. Troy and I were teammates on a baseball team; I did not like warming up with him because he threw the ball so hard. I remember Tammi and her sister Traci living next door to my family on Pine Island Road close to Prairie View. I look forward to glory when we will be joined with our Lord and family of God. Tammi- I know your heart is crushed. When I lost my Dad several years ago; it made heaven more real to me knowing that I would see them again. I don't know if you remember that skinny kid next door who raised those pigs, but I sure hope I can get to know your family better in the future. I have been married for 30 years; I teach at Castle Hills First Baptist School; I have two sons and one daughter.( two getting married this year, one allready married). I pray that the love of God and others will comfort your heart. I never knew what became of you and Troy. I found out this news through my sister on facebook. I so much would have loved for you to have met my family and I yours. Life was very rocky for me in my early years, but God was pleased to save me after my first year out of high school. I write all this just to shine the light on God's grace. He is truly good. From a stupid, lost high school dude, to a born again believer in Chist, may God bless you real good : THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
