Though I havent seen Al in years, I still think of my old comrades from the FAA. They were a part of the best of my years. I worked with Al in San Antonio and considered him a friend. I know the LOrs will get you through these hard times.

Dorothy and family, our prayers go out to you on the loss of Al. He was (as were both of you) very special to many people. He will be remembered as one who never looked for praise or attention, but was always friendly and willing to help someone in need. Dorothy, you and Al will always be special and remembered by us for the many dances we had together; your warm and friendly ways and for the special assistance that Al gave our daughter in time of need. May God Bless his Soul and give you and your family strength and courage in this time of sorrow.

My Condolences to the family. Al was a great friend. He was also a very sharp technician. I enjoyed working with him at the tower. He will be missed.

Dear Grohman Family
I worked with Al when I was a RADAR Engineer at the Houston Maintenance Engineering Field Office and later as an Engineer at the Houston Air Traffic Control Center. I thought a lot of him as a person of high morals and integrity and am sorry to hear of his passing. He left a mark for others to strive for and you can be proud of him.

May God Bless the Grohman family in this time of sorrow. Al was a great friend and co-worker. He left a legacy of one who loved God and his family. During our tenure of FAA employment, FAA personnel were like family and we all shared many good times together. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him personaly. There is a saying that you will meet someone in your life who leaves their footprints in your heart. Al left his footprints in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
