Hal,

Your dad sounds like a wonderful man. I know you will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time to adjusting to living on this earth without his presence. But your reunion in heaven one day will be joyous.

Blessings and condolences to you, Lucy and the rest of your children.

My sincerest sympathy for your loss. Mr. Moorman always took the time. When I was a little kid, I'd clomp down those long noisy stairs to his basement office beneath Billie's Corner just to say hello and shake his hand. In the mid-late 70s summers, he'd take me skiing for hours - I'd pull him and he'd pull me. When we skied, he always got this huge smile just after he'd pop up out of the water...but his biggest smiles were when he'd tell me about Hal and Rob and whatever they were doing at the time...his parental pride was obvious. The New Years Day events were special gatherings of pure fun together. On trips to Mexico, we'd totally destroy the Spanish language and laugh hard about it. He adored Billie, and they had more fun than any two people that I've ever known...it was just fun to be around them. Rest in Peace Captain...we'll all miss you.
