Tom and I were so sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing. We enjoyed our friendship with both him and Dolly through the years. I also had the privilege of teaching at Brenham Intermediate School where he was my principal. What a great guy who was so supportive of his teachers. I have some wonderful memories of working with him. Rest in peace, Mr. Krause.

My sympathy to all the Krause Family. I first knew him when I was in junior high and he was serving as assistant principal. He was always so kind and fair and we the students thought he was the greatest! Prayers for you all that God will grant you His comfort and peace.

Mr. Krause was an exceptional educator and human being. Always smiling and had the command of a great leader which is why he was such a good principal. He loved children and did an awesome job with not only his school children but his own family. Mr. Krause was my boss when I was a senior in High School and he and Janet Renner were great examples of what work and relationships were all about. I enjoyed that year very much and will always have a special place in my heart for this man.
My sincere sympathy to his family.
