I remember the many early morning runs with Jim. He inspired me and I admired his calm Christian perspective on many many subjects. His love for his family was always evident. I will miss him greatly.

Vicki,
Tom and I are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. Tom has always said Jim was the BEST boss he has ever had and missed talking with him during the last year. Our prayers are with you, and know that Jim is now in a pain free place to watch over his family.

Dear Vicki and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. We will always appreciate the scholarship that he gave to our oldest son, Cole when he went to Sul Ross University. I can only imagine the pain you are going through at this time, but please know you have friends and family that are lifting you and your family up in prayer. God is a loving God and he has his arms around all of you at this time and always.

We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Vicki; My heart is heavy for your loss, but filled with joy in the fact that Jim is now in the Lord's hands and is no longer in pain, and has a new and complete body. Our prayers will be for you and your family as you make it through this chapter in your lives. May God's blessings be with you and your family this day and forever.

I knew Jim while growing up and spending many hours at his house with his sister, my childhood best friend. But it was my great pleasure to see him again at Camp Bandina where we were both counselors. His faith, devotion to family, and love for children were evident in all he did. I particularly enjoyed the time we had in one-on-one conversation, catching up. I will be praying for his family, as I know that he will be greatly missed.

My prayers are with all who love Jim. I worked with him in East Bernard. He interviewed me for a theatre/speech position. I had two whole years teaching English, in Corpus Christi. I have never had a more wonderful experience than the day my husband and I sat down to VISIT with Jim. I was new to the area, newly married, and applying for a job I only whispered about in prayers. He was truly an instrument of God that day. Twelve years later, I am a theatre teacher; something I would have never imagined possible for myself. He led me down the path the Lord had placed before, giving me the courage and the chance to do what God knew was a dream in my heart. I am a happier teacher and a better person because God allowed my path to cross his. I hope I am so blessed, again, when I get to where Jim is. Welcome home, Jim, we're going to miss you.
