My sweet Aunt Jimmie, to have known you was one of the biggest blessings I’ve experienced in my life. To have been your niece was a true miracle. I will always cherish the love and encouragement you gave to me and wait for the day we will meet again. I love you always and forever.

How do I put in words to describe all of the love and happiness our sweet Aunt Jimmie graced us through the years? My writing will never do her justice, but I must share my adoration for her.

I’ll always cherish her welcoming hugs that enveloped me in the warmth that she radiated. Her laugh was a rare diamond that makes me smile, because I can still hear its’ ring. She would gush about all of her great-nieces’ hair while running her fingers through it (I’m leery of ever cutting mine again). Every year I would look forward to seeing her and Uncle Jeff at their beautiful home that truly felt like nature’s heaven; a place where all my stress and complications refused to enter. Aunt Jimmie was a true light-bearer, because I NEVER felt a breadth of negativity in her presence. Although it’s human nature to be speaking of her in past tense, her spirit lives on through all of us. We’ve all gained her presence through the ether, which means she’ll never leave our side.

Aunt Jimmie, I love you so much that there needs to be another word stronger than meaning of love, which I promise you that I’ll come up with one, and hopefully get to hear your laugh again when I spill it to you in the Seuss-like craziness it may sound like. But then again, you may already know, because the understanding lies in the soul. We miss you madly down here, but we know you’re where you were created to be. <3

Love,
Elizabeth

Donna, Beverly and Barbara, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister! Please give your mom Virginia a hug for me and tell her I'm so sorry for losing her baby Jimmie Lynn.

Jeff, I grew up with these girls but apologize for never meeting you. Your life has changed forever but your strength and belief will strengthen you. As will your friends.
