We know, and all of BTU's customers know, what a rock Tom was. Always dependable! Always genuinely concerned! Always willing to give advice! Never condescending! Always courteous! Always reachable! What a leader, mentor and friend. We will always miss your kind words and smile but we are confident you are in a better place.

My condolences to Tom's family. He was a sweatheart and kind soul to everyone he met and above all a good man all around. It was rare to ever see him not smiling on approach. He will very much be missed by all. May God watch over you now in Heaven and your family here on Earth.

So sorry for your loss. I admired Tom's strength. He obviously cared, deeply, for his family. Tom seemed to have a sort of resilient hope that kept him from discouragement. He was a man I was proud to know.

My condolences to the family.

To the family of Tom Brent, I worked with Tom for three years and I am thankful for having the honor of being his employee. What I admired most was that he had courage to stand up for his beliefs and was stubborn to get his way when he knew he was right in the argument if any. He liked visiting with employees to make them feel recognized and to show his appreciation of their hard work. Tom and I had very few breaks but when we did we spoke about what mattered most in our lives - our family. I want to say thank you Tom for hiring me and being a superb supervisor and boss - I will never forget you. Irma
