Lorraine Louise Gottman Fuhrman

Lorraine was born on December 10, 1934, in Henrietta, Texas, to Henry Hudson Goettman and Ida Klemmer Goettman.

She began her career in the 1950s with Pacific Telephone & Telegraph before continuing her employment with Southwestern Bell. Later in life, Lorraine worked as a legal secretary in the banking industry.

Lorraine relocated to Brenham with her mother, Ida, whom she lovingly cared for until her mother's passing. A devoted Christian, Lorraine was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and kind heart. She touched the lives of many through her gracious nature, unwavering faith, and joyful outlook on life.

A graveside services for Lorraine will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham, Texas.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Cerise and Ruben Perez of Bellville for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Lorraine. Their generosity and dedication were a true blessing and will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.
